Ramona Taylor, is a Marriage & Family Therapist Registered Intern with over 15 years of professional experience working in different settings including: group homes, elementary schools, domestic violence shelters, churches, 12 step groups, homeless shelters, assisted living homes, and outpatient programs. She works with individuals, couples, families and young adults who are suffering with depression, sexual problems, relational problems, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, school problems, and addiction.
In her personal life, Ramona has a strong Christian Faith . She finds joy in working creatively as a fine artist, writer and musician. She successfully integrates spirituality and creativity into practice as she specializes in Experiential and Gestalt treatment modalities. Through these modalities she helps clients work in the present to: find deep healing from the pain of the past, to discover freedom to experience joy in the present, and to restore hope in the future. She also is trained in a wide variety of treatment modalities to meet the unique needs and preferences of her clients. These modalities, (all client centered), include: Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and Brief Therapies. Ramona is also is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and utilizes her training to treat clients suffering from trauma and PTSD.
